Miniature Voyages is easy to miss if you're charging through ARC Raiders with your head on a swivel for enemies. The activity sits inside the Last Resort event and ties into Avian Alarm progress, but it doesn't behave like a normal checklist task. You're hunting tiny Ship Models, and they're mixed into the same messy rooms, counters, shelves, and boxes you'd already be looting for ARC Raiders Items during a regular run. No bright marker. No neat trail. Just a small object that can vanish into the background if you're moving too fast.



Start Where People Actually Live
Riven Tides is where most players should spend their time with this activity. Other maps can cough up a model now and then, sure, but Riven Tides feels far more worth the trip. The best habit is to treat residential spaces like proper search zones, not quick loot stops. Open rooms slowly. Look across desks, low tables, bedside units, kitchen counters, and shelves. It sounds boring until you spot one sitting in plain sight, right where you nearly sprinted past it. Hotel Panorama Azzurro is especially good for this. The place has enough rooms and clutter to make it a pain, but that's also why it works.



Don't Just Run the Hotel
A lot of players get stuck farming the hotel and forget the surrounding resort buildings. That's a mistake. The nearby apartments, storage areas, small sheds, and service rooms can be just as useful on a quieter run. Check lockers, drawers, containers, and any odd corner that looks like it was placed there to waste your time. Half the trick with Ship Models is accepting that they don't always spawn in dramatic places. Sometimes they're on a dull shelf in a room you only entered because you were hiding from trouble.



Beachcombing Changes the Route
When the Beachcombing map condition is active, your plan should change. This is when the Dockmaster's Detector becomes more than a side tool. Take it toward the shoreline, especially around the Port Authority side, and start sweeping for buried caches. These caches are often a steadier source of Ship Models than random indoor searching, and players chasing higher rarity models tend to value these runs a lot. Common models are fine for progress, but rare and legendary finds make the whole trip feel less like busywork. Just don't stand on the sand too long staring at the detector. Someone else may be doing the same thing.



Leave Before Greed Gets You Killed
The hard part isn't always finding the models. It's getting them out. Miniature Voyages has that nasty ARC Raiders pressure where one extra room can ruin a clean run. If your bag already has a few models, think about the nearest extraction before you push deeper into the resort. A safer route with two Ship Models beats a reckless one with five lost to an ambush. Players who treat these collectibles like Epic Material usually make better calls, because they stop seeing them as throwaway event junk and start protecting the haul on the way home.
